Hi to all! I´m thinking of buying a S6. I´ve been thinking of some things that I saw in description. I live in Mexico, and here the version is SM-G920i, and I´ve seen that there are SM-G920F commonly in the United States, and I saw also 920V. My question is: Is there any noticeable or significant differences in those versions? It´s easier to buy it at my carrier (Telcel) but I can also buy it at Amazon.

Also, I spent almost all day researching about battery life on the S6. Would the S6 battery beat the 4.7“ iPhone 6 battery life?

Cheers!

1. The V is the Verizon version. The F is the European version. The I is, among other places, the Latin American version. Aside from language differences, the radios use different frequencies.

2. iPhones normally get better battery life than Android phones, phone for phone and battery size for battery size. Other than that and iMessage, they don't beat Androids. (And for a phone you can't replace the battery in cheaply, try to never let it get below 40% before charging it. Getting the longest time between charges is also getting the shortest time between battery replacements. Lithium batteries don't like being deeply discharged.)

Both phones have been out for a while. I6 ranks below the GS6.

Both phones are great in their own right and appeal to different audiences.

It depends upon whether the following are important to you.

Optimization versus customization.
Task switching versus true multi-tasking in the GS6.
Dual wireless charging standards and rapid charging built in not available in the i6
Dual mobile payment systems, tap n go and MST, versus only one in the i6.
QHD screen resolution on a 5.1 inch screen versus 4.7 inch non-QHD on the i6.

In the end, only you can decide what's best for you. For the amount of money that these devices cost, battery is only one of several considerations. CDMA carriers like VZW and Sprint have been experiencing more issues with TMO experiencing fewer issues and then AT&T even fewer cases.
