So alot of us have had the DInc for a while now, me personally after rooting, and changing the UI and playing with the phone, I still love it. With the new phones out like the Facinate and Droid 2, how does everyone feel about there phone. I think this phone , although missing some wanted features, is still the best phone out there. Its snappy and clean and sleek. Whats everyone elses thoughts.

Agree. No regrets about this purchase. I am rooted but have not yet tried any new ROM's. I still feel I have a ton left to discover.

+1. I just recently rooted mine and I've had it since launch. I have not tried any new ROM's and may not even go that route. I have used the Droid X and Evo but I still prefer the compact size of the Incredible.

I came from the BB Storm so I might be a little more biased towards the DINC then some here that came from other android phones but I will say this.
I have had it for 4 months now and it is without a doubt the best phone I have ever owned. My friends have the I-Phone (all three versions 3G-3GS-4), the Droids 1&2 and the Droid X. I would not trade in my DINC for any of those phones. While no phone is perfect, for me, the DINC comes the closest.

The I-Phones in my opinion are played out with very little change since their inception in appearance and I would never go to AT&T in my area.

I do not like the Droids 1&2 because they are a little to thick for me and I don't need a physical keyboard. (Swiftkey on the DINC is awesome).

The Droid X is a horrible looking phone IMO and I don't like the feel of the bottom buttons.

I think the only thing that will get me to change phones would be if HTC/Verizon come out with a phone that has everything the DINC has but with a 4" screen. The 4.3" screen on the X and EVO seem just a tad to big while the 3.7" on the DINC seem a tad to small. So a 4" screen would probably be just right for most users including myself.

i like the size of the DIinc, i wish it had a front facing camera, i used to think it would be pointless but for people with work and traveling, it makes it easier than using the web cam on laptop but for sure not that important. The other thing is it is not the easiest to send videos on. Swift key is for sure the best keyboard, once it learns the way you type it is awesome!!!

Still love it. I continue to play and make tweeks, always something to keep my attention.

Love it. Did have to get a 2150 battery. I think a 4" Inc would be great and a ff camera would be a +, but not sure how often I would actually use it.

I'm just thankful that I got a phone that kicks this much butt and isn't Bingified. If my new every two is up and all of verizon's android phones are rocking bing.... I'll keep my DInc!

all the new phone coming out seems to be a step down. The only real step forward seems to be the addition of world phone capabilities but the specs are still not as good.

There are no real phones out there that really get me excited. We may not see any big steps forward till the LTE phones start coming out.

For now I am happy with my Dinc. No regrets.

Thanks to the Flash update, I'm actually streaming ALMS quali right now at stream.speedtv.com . SO ... DAMN ... HAPPY! :D

I still am in love with this phone. I haven't even tried LP or any of the other UI's. I just have a hard time believing they can be better than Sense.

From what I've seen, it seems like my friends who get other phones (D2, X) only use Launcher Pro because they want their phone to have a UI that resembles HTC Sense.

Agree with most of the fellows D inc owners posts , is going to be so difficult to change to other new phone after live with the Inc ,this is the best phone ever used rooted or unrooted, however I found that rooted Inc with UncommonSense improves signal strengt and battery life alotmore than HTC Sense unrooted. D inc rooted is amazing

I love it. I use the Droid Incredible on Verizon and the Iphone 4 on AT&T and my primary usage goes to the Droid Incredible. The full flash support and fast browser is awesome. Customization, widgets, and so much more I can go on about.

Had the battery life been better it would have been near perfect.

I have had my DINC for 4 months now and still happy with it .
I like the size, speed and performance of it.
I dont see myself replacing it anytime soon, I prefer this size of phone compaired to the DX and I do have kinda big hands(well avg. size hands for a 6 ft tall guy ) ,lol . :D

I've been using m DInc. which is my first smartphone, since May. I have to say that I love Apple's computers and the iPod, but I wasn't going to switch to At&t for the iPhone since I tend to live and travel in places that there is no coverage. That being said I've been a fan of samsung phones for awhile and I had no interest in any of the crap motorola puts out but at the time Samsung didn't have anything. Now that I've been using an HTC phone I'm sold. I feel like I'm using a quality product even side by side with the new iPhone 4. My only real complaints are that I'd like have the hdmi out like the evo.

Other than that I had to use my phone while my iPod was being repaired and the lack of dedicated buttons to switch tracks and the fact the shuffle repeats the same song some times 3 times in 10 minutes is quiet annoying. When driving I don't want to have to wake the phone up to change tracks and definitely switching around play lists isn't as easy as on the iPod. I do realize that one is a media device and one is a phone so they have different purposes.

I have yet to root my phone, maybe once I don't have a masters thesis to worry about anymore I can explore that option though in general I like sense though more options in customization and landscape would be nice. SO that was the long answer to yes I still like my phone and even if I could I wouldn't switch to any of the other options on Verizon, unless they get something like the Evo.

You can go landscape mode with Launcher Pro that is one of my favorite features about that, plus you can have a scrollable home screen dock.

I also think the phone is perfect size, I dont know what it is but even comparing it to other phones it just doesnt feel as cheap.

As for music Pandora Radio is all i use. With the homescreen widget you just hit next.

The sense UI is awesome but LP lets you customize alot more and with Fancy Widget the only difference you notice is the home screen. and if you set up the 3 home screen docks you never really even have to leave the home screen.

I still dig this phone, my girlfriend hates it, stealing her time. But those thing DOES everything!
