Disable Facebook APK even if you've never used Facebook?

These three Facebook APK files are on a lot of android devices even if you've never installed Facebook or use it via browser

I've never had any Facebook app, Facebook messenger, Instagram, Facebook mobile instant app, WhatsApp etc nothing to do with Facebook via any browser and yet these APK files are on most devices

Settings > apps > "show system processes" > scroll down to find if you also have them

Personally I found 2 Facebook APK files when I first purchased this device I use but after a OS update another one magically appeared I'd strongly recommend you check and disable if you find these also clear data from these APK files first then disable

Yes, to have to be vigilant. These things are often preinstalled in phones as bloat and one can't even uninstall the rotten things! I go through all my settings (including system apps) and kill everything I can. Then firewall everything my phone tries to connect to with any reference to Facebook and others like that!

Exactly what I do - like I said two were preinstalled, and disabled, and the third appeared after an OS update - don't actually know if any were pushing data to Facebook but I'd say they were or at least telling Facebook what other apps I've used

Have heard of ppl saying Facebook has data on them from devices and they don't use Facebook *shrugs

Baffling how anyone would still use any Facebook service after all the bad press smh
