I am a pastor who wants to use to the Toshiba Thrive purchased for me by my wife to help me deliver my messages. I downloaded Documents to Go, but I am afraid that I will over-flick when scrolling and lose my place in my manuscript. Can I turn off the scroll and advance the document some other way?
Do I need another application? Please help.

Here's something that may work for you. It will require getting a couple more free applications, but I've tested it and I think it will work well for what you are doing.

First, save your sermon as a doc file somewhere on your tablet. It doesn't matter if you put it on the device's drive or on an sd card.

Next, you need to convert it into a PDF using PDF Converter, a free app in the market. Just open up the app, choose the sermon you want to convert, and tell the app where you want to put it. I think it selects your Download folder by default.

Last of all, import the PDF into Aldiko book reader. Open the app, go to the app's home screen, select sdcard, and find your PDF. Select it and choose the option to import.

When you open the PDF in Aldiko, you will notice that it doesn't scroll. Rather, you turn pages one at a time. Pretty ideal for following along with a sermon outline.

Let me know how it works for you. My pastor has me filling in for him more and more these days, and I just might try it myself.
