Disabled verizon's voicemail talk to text after kit kat update but now I can't turn it back on

I disabled the Voicemail app because when I would get a voicemail it would automatically go to voice to text but would force close when trying to read vm. This started happening after the kit kat update and 30 day trial was up. Now I have to use *86 and I don't get a notification that I have a missed call. I also can't turn my voicemail app back on.

No, I was trying to avoid that annoying step. Was hoping there was a fix without doing a factory reset.

Call Verizon. Might be able to reset it for you
