Disabling Mobile Network?

I'll be leaving town soon and i want to disable my mobile network and just keep wi-fi on.

Can anybody help me with this? Can't seem to find the option in my phone.

Just discovered a temporary solution, I turned on Flight Mode which disabled everything. Then I simply turned Wi-Fi back on.

Are you still connected to Wifi? Because you could still receive the calls and texts.

This works perfectly. I did this on a recent trip and had no issues.

Not unless they have Google Voice or some such utility. Airplane mode kills all carrier connections.
