Disappearing avatar pictures from apps

Greetings, so I have a minor albeit annoying thing happening when I reset launcher Pro(purchased) or reset the phone(Samsung Fascinate). Most of the avatar pictures change to the green droid avatar .. it happens to all of my Google ap avatars and a couple of other random aps as well.
This wouldn?t be so bad except that I removed all of the descriptive words from beneath the avatars ? My memory is so far only trained to recognize the avatar picture not the location on the screen. lol.


Any suggestions.. other than the obvious ie, don?t turn off the phone or reset launcher Pro.

This is my seond post here and I'm a smartphone noob (and generally not good with fancy TVs) but I had the same problem. I think it's a known bug in LauncherPro and the workaround is to place the apps on each page like this: go to the page you want the app to be on, open the applications drawer, long-press the app you want, then place it on the page.

If you long-press a blank spot on a page and install it that way, generic green android icons await you.

At least that's the way it worked (and didn't) for me. LauncherPro actually has all this written on the site right where you download it, but we never read that stuff...til the **** hits the fan!

If I've given poor advice or incorrect info please someone correct me. This is the easier method to place apps on a page anyway imo.
