I have had every Samsung galaxy phone series, S tablets and their watches.... The other day I got tablets for my gf and myself.. I got her the new IPad Pro 10.5 and myself the Tab S3... I'm rather disappointed with this tablet. I've never liked the iPad (personal opinion) but her iPad is 100x better than the Tab S3... From the screen display to just pure power... There's a slight lag when using the back button.. Having the home button where it is makes it feel odd. They should have used the design of the S8 with more screen, less bezel. Just disappointed with this... And it's sad cuz I love Samsung.. What's even more sad is I'm thinking of returning it.

I felt the same way about the S5 when I had it. Could never get satisfied with it. Went back to my iPhone at the time and stayed with it for a few years. Well decided to give the S8 Plus a try.

Low and behold it spun circles around my iPhone 7 Plus. But when it comes to tablets I think it's hard to beat the iPad. Apple really has perfected the tablet. I've tried other tablets and always returned them within days.

I am a bit disappointed also, felt that Samsung did not update Tab S3 with the latest tech and design even though they updated the price.

I'm very satisfied with my S3, I even prefer to use it for work over my laptop when I'm away from home.
The citrix receiver interface is awful, but Cisco anyconnect and RDP work great.

My gf's dad's iPad is what made me want a tablet. Viewing stocks and research was a much better experience on his iPad than on my phone, but I can't stand the iPad.

Since I bought my S3 I have not once used my laptop. (nor my desktop, other than for photo editing) I cannot find any fault with this tablet at all... well, aside from a rather steep price tag!.. but really, I can't even complain about that, as this has got to be the best tablet available today. Two thumbs way up!

The screen on the tab S3 is amazing...not sure why your experience sucked but this device has been more than awesome.

My experience doesn't suck... I have every Samsung device there is/has been... Besides power the Tab series haven't been all that great with their new releases... They could have done infinity display, removed the home button, etc.. One would think it would have the same features as the S8.

I guess it depends on what you're looking for. I've had pretty much every annual phone and tablet Samsung releases. I got a Tab S3 to replace a Tab A 8.0 with S Pen I bought after my Note7 got recalled and to also replace a Note 12.2 LTE I used as a laptop replacement. The former had a 160 PPI display which made my eyes bleed and the latter was too big and long in tooth. Both had Asian LTE which only worked in some markets but not my own.

The Tab S3's display is beautiful and I'd take it over any LCD including Apple's. The LTE on the Tab S3 if fully compatible with AT&T and performs as well as my S8+. The new S Pen and its features (including multi window) are head and shoulders over the Apple Pencil. S-820 is fine for a tablet and the Tab S3 is the fastest tablet Samsung's made. Battery life is fantastic and quick charging is great too.

Both the OEM book cover and keyboard cover are incredibly well designed and are as premium as the Tab S3.

There's more to like than dislike but beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

The Tab S3 is the best gadget ever made (personal opinion). The speed is simply unbelievable, the speakers are perfect and the AMOLED display has the BEST color reproduction I have ever seen on a mobile device. Also, the battery life is absolutely SUPERIOR to anything else (and AFC charging is really fast to!).
