Disconnect 3rd Party on a 3-Way Call

If I am talking to someone via my Palm Pre and I decide to connect a 3rd party to our conversation, there is no way to disconnect that 3rd party without completely hanging up on everyone.

On the E3D, is it possible to disconnect the 3rd party WITHOUT hanging up on the 1st person too?

No. I think this is a limitation of CDMA.

I have experienced the same problem and its not your phone, its sprint network. I finally was able to speak with someone at sprint that knew the answer the this problem. Sprint network will not allow you to disconnect 1 person on a 3 way call or merge a call waiting into a 3 way call. I found video of my galaxy s 2 3way call video on att&t and my phone can make such a call. I also contacted samsung and they told me that each carrier chooses the options they want on the phone
