dishnetwork on my Evo!!!!

DISH Network TV everywhere works on Laptops, Tablets, and Smartphone?s. Just connect the Sling adapter to a 722 or 722k HD DVR and download the app. Being a DISH employee I know you will get all the programming that you are subscribed to and you can watch what you have recorded on you DVR and set up timers for your recordings with DISH Remote Access.

What kind of quality would one get over a dsl connection? My dsl only gets about 650K up. I know it works great over cable internet. I'd hate to spend 100 bucks just to find out my dsl was too slow.

Am I missing Something..?

I must be missing something, I have dish, I have the 722k and internet connection, I don't have the slingbox but I can still see my DVR stuff on my evo without the slingbox...

So why do I need the slingbox for....??

It allows you to watch your sat online with a computer or android phone. I think the adapter just allows for live shows while the slingbox allows both live and recorded.

Chrisy- I hope you don't mind me jumping in here as well. Being a fellow employee as well, I just wanted to say that you do need internet access. How it works is you need a home internet connection, and it is preferred that you have it on your mobile device as well. So once you have that you can start viewing from anywhere! In OR out of the US, on multiple devices and it isn't just a limited amount of content. Even if the internet is an additional cost, which it is for me since I didn't have it before. It is so worth it. I get extra TV's for an additional $15 a month! If you are interested in something such as this, since you have just the basic receiver you would need to upgrade. For a majority of our customers this is free of charge. If you are interested email me @ Miranda.Barela@DISHNetwork.com and I will be happy to have one of our Customer Service Reps take a look and give you an idea of what you would be looking at!
Brook****- You can adjust your timers to make sure that this doesn't happen! If you need any help just give us a call and one of our team members will be willing to assist you.

Since the other person never answered my question I'll try asking you.

Is DSL at 650-700k up enough bandwidth for sling to work for me?

MirandaSb,

Thanks! I appreciate the reply. I love Dish Network but I don't have home internet nor do I plan on getting it. So that leaves me out of the TV Anywhere.

It sounds cool though!

Thanks again for the info!

Yea I'll need the internet cuz the dvr has to connect to ur router with an Ethernet cable n your slinbox adapter connects to ur dvr

Yes, this will be enough for Slingbox to Phone as long as you are not using it at home for other uses at the same time. i.e. uploading a video or photos

Asking for password?

I just got my sling adapter, hooked it up, and I can see live tv. When I try to start a show from my dvr it just goes back to live tv and asks me for my password? I've entered in my password for logging on to dish network and I typed in my password for parent controls on my dish network box. I still can't see any of my recordings from my dvr. Any suggestions?

Something ain't right cuz u should b able to watch ur dvr recordings, I would uninstall the app and reinstall
