Hey everyone ,
I'm sure that all of you have heard about the whitestone some glass for the s8- that works "flawlessly" but unfortunately very expensive as well.
Anyway, I decided to do a little diy project- my own WSD glass.

The concept of the WSD is actually pretty basic- a glass and a glue (I guess some kind of UV glue) and a lamp to cure it.
So, I went to AliExpress (since I live in Israel and it ships to here) and ordered the following-

1. Case friendly glass for the S8+. About 6 usd
2. 36W UV lamp. About 10 usd
3. 1000TP LOCA GLUE. About 5 usd.

So 21 usd. With the price of WSD I could buy 2 sets of that and have a spare too.

Following the above, the instructions are quite easy:
1. Removing any dust from the screen
2. "glue" the screen
3. Lay the glass down and let the whole process cure under the UV light.

That should work (theoretically), but for now I can do nothing but waiting.

So, that's all for now. Sorry for my probably-bad English, it isn't my first language..

Edit: Before the whole process, wanted to ask you - who uses his phone without screen protector right now? If you do, what about scratches? Does it annoy you enough to care?
I had that ugly silicone one, and today I finally took it off- and I am scared that I will have scratches on my phone, but hey, it looked like sh** and the loca glue should fill the scratches, so I am confident that it wouldn't affect the phone that bad..

Hey, I just noticed that my title isn't correct. If one of the mods could change it to "DIY whitestone glass protector" I will be happy 😅
