DND and 6.0.1

Quick question about DND and 6.0.1. I have DND set to start at 10 pm and shut off at 7 am. I use it because some automated systems send me emails at 5 am. DND blocked then fine. I set it up so that my family can call/text any time and get through. (Worked great. Even blocked a text from on-star at 3 am letting me know that my contract would expire in the following month.) I also have a burglar alarm system that sends me text messages about troubles/alarms/tampers with my home alarm system. Helpful when I'm out of town. They come in from the internet and not from a phone number. The number associated with them is a 4 digit number. I have them set up as a contact, allowed through do not disturb, with that number listed as the phone number. They are in my favorites list so they can ring through 24 hours a day. When I get messages from them, the name and number are there. But last night, they sent a trouble message out at midnight and it didn't come through. Am I missing something in the setup for them?

Maybe that was a one time glitch? Seems like DND is working well otherwise.
