Do former Note 7 owners get a discount on new Samsung phones?

[AC Question]

.....if there would be some sort of discounted, free, (or otherwise) upgrade to Samsung's latest flagship phones? Unless I missed it, either people have cooled down about it (so Sammy hasn't mentioned it anymore) or maybe I've just missed it. Like you, I was part of each of the Note 7 recalls, plus one or more additional ones where local big-box electronic stores were saying "if your new Note 7 has a certain mark on the IMEI label, its safe." In short, I hesitantly settled on an S7 edge, which was the next closest thing to the Note 7, but Ive always been a "Note" guy. Just wondering if anyone has heard anything else lately.

It was refunds, returned phones and maybe some deals on the S7? everywhere at the time I believe.
