Do I need a new charging port?

Hey everyone,

The issue I am having is my phone will no longer fast charge. I ordered a OEM charger, cable and battery, cleaned the charging port, *#0808# MTP+ADP, cleaned the partition cache, reboot in safemode.

Do I need to replace the charging port? I'm at a loss, I'm planning to get the Note 8 but I need to resolve this.

Not sure I think is the update. My note 4 does the same. I try what you did still no rapid charging, but the wierd part is rapid charging only works in samsung car charger.

Try samsung best buy. My be they can solve the problem.

This is the Samsung cable. It happened to me, but fast charge was back as soon as I changed it
