I own the charging brick that
came with my Pixel 3 XL and the 0G Pixel Stand. While I've been charging my6 Pro with it
was curious... am getting the fastest charging speeds using those two things or will
have to purchase the new
charger that Google is selling?

Unless I am mistaken the 30W charging brick on the Google Store is the same charger that has been supplied with the past few Pixel lines, so you have the same one they are selling. Unless the Pixel 3 came with something other than the 30W USB-C brick.

The new Pixel Stand is a little faster wireless charging than the original stand, but probably not drastically faster.

If you want the fastest charging, you need a new chargers (Pixel 3 was 18W).

Do you actually need them though? If you can charge overnight and make it through a full day, why waste money and plastic?

Thanks for clarifying that, my mistake. I was not sure which phone started shipping with the 30W brick. I thought it was the 3 series, but I was incorrect. I do agree though, if the 18W brick charges the phone OK, and having the fastest speed is not a tip priority then the 18W charger is probably sufficient.

I'm going to continue to use the 18W block from my 3XL. It changes the 6 Pro fine, plus the battery will last much longer with this charger than with the heat generated by the 30W block.

I am using the same USB-c chargers I got for my Pixel 2 XL...I do not pay much attention to how fast the charge. I get in the car plug it in snap it on my mag mount and when I get out after 20 to 35 minute it is either charged or will be on the trip back. If I am at home there is a charger in the rooms where I sit.

I will not be buying a charger I do not need...The P6 pro slows the charging down anyway.
