Do Not Disturb?

I use the do not disturb option on my phone and only accept calls and texts when the caller is one of my contacts. What happens to a call if the caller is not in my contact list? Does it go to voicemail, is it blocked/ignored, other? Thanks!

Or you can send the call anywhere. I know of someone doing the same dnd, and any unrecognized call is forwarded to Apple Support.
Open the phone, go to its settings, more settings, then select where to forward in the 4 situations shown.

If you just use the default Do Not Disturb settings, the caller will be immediately sent to voicemail and you will not hear the call.
