Do you carry your phone in your back pocket like a wallet?

I appreciate all the action here but my real question is will it break the phone to sit down with it in your back pocket.

Maybe give it a shot and see how you make out. Doesn't seem like the best idea in the world, but you can let us know how it goes.

Probably. It is glass front and back with edges on both sides curved. Honestly I could imagine it putting enough on the edges to eventually fatigue and crack. But I'm just guessing.

Then where does your wallet go?

I'm a keys front right, phone front left and wallet back right. I don't know why but I don't like using the back left for anything. Now if I want to pocket carrying my gun in my right front again at times, then it gets complicated.

The things posted after midnight...

Back right pocket for me. Always take it out before I sit.

Back in the days of Motorola StarTac flip-phones, I used a belt clip. Beyond that, I don't like clips or holsters. All of my smartphones have resided in my left front pocket.

And, as an aside, I no longer carry my wallet in my back pocket; when I carry it at all, it is a newer "slim" style wallet and it goes in my right front pocket.

I tried using a holster once and my girlfriend at the time laughed at me and said I looked like an old man.

I used to always use a holster case, but alas the wife told me that it was a really bad look. Old Man, Nerd, Dweeb there was no end to her teasing about it. Then the kids joined in and i finally gave in to the pressure. So now i use my shirt pocket, or my back pocket (front pockets are Keys and money clip).

However i still secretly covet all of you folks still rocking the holster.

I've always carry my phone in my front shirt pocke, but I'm wondering if people carry phones in their back pocket like a wallet and if so have they had any problems.
Not a chance of me carrying my phone in my back pocket, not since they became large touch screen slabs, but even with my old Nokia sliders and Sony Ericsson swivel phones, I never put them in my back pocket, that's where I put my wallet.

I think this is how some peoples iPhones got bent with the iPhone 6.

Only girls carry their phone in the back pocket.

Since I'm a guy (tough one at that) I naturally carry it in my front pocket or a holster if the case I'm rocking comes with it.

LOL - Is that a phone in your front pocket or are you just happy to be here?

Back right pocket...

Front right pocket. Nothing else goes in that pocket except the phone.

Shirt pocket seems dangerous--the phone can easily fall out if you bend forward. I don't know if it would break from being sat on in my back pocket, but I wouldn't take the chance. Also might be too easy a target for pickpockets in a back pocket.

Front right pocket. Not bashing any men that do, but I really did think that carrying your phone in your back pocket was a women thing. Just never really seen any men do it.

 My latest phone is a SAM-Gs7: I carry this toy 2-Weeks on my front

right Jeans pocket, but use to Turns on by itself, so got a vertical belt

pouch No drops at all: Based on the replies, we can conclude that

"Front pants pocket & Belt holster" are the best places..Bye!

Now I know why I read of so many broken phones. Front shirt pocket? OMG. Don't plan on taking the risk of sitting on my delicate glass phone either. I use a two piece hard shell case. Don't clip it to my belt because people are so freakin judgmental, so I just carry it and maybe clip it to my pocket temporarily if I need two hands free.

I carry mines in my back left pocket. I always take out it before I sit down. I did have the iPhone 6s bend once. They replaced it. No other phone has been bent or cracked because of that placement. And I carry my wallet in my back right pocket. Every now and again I'll carry the phone in my front pocket, or my suit jacket pocket if I'm working and walking around with it on.
