Same here, but I know if they do anything ridiculous with tiered data then I won't allow myself to get the TB. This means that all the time I have spent will be wasted :'(

Being a total newbie to the big "Phone Wait" game, I *was* like that and about 3 weeks ago I flipped to being disgusted with the whole thing, the excitement was just gone and hasn't returned.
Do I still check? Yeah, but not with any enthusiasm whatsoever. I still stop by a couple times a day - compared with just about living here and madly clicking on any post that so much as hinted at a release date. Then running over to the VZW site to click the TB page and hoped like hell that when the words came on the screen it would say SOMETHING other than "Strikes Soon." Then running back over here to do more mad-clicking thinking "SOMEONE has to know SOMETHING that means something other than the standard "coming soon."
All the disappointments finally got to me. Now I'm just sick of the whole darn thing. All the rumors, he said she saids, people going crazy just because a freaking link doesn't work on the VZW site or it glitches and they jump to "they must be updating their site so maybe!!!!!!!! ..." most of them not having a clue how website updates work. Their posts sound like they're literally holding their breath while grabbing their car keys to drive at warp speed to their nearest VZW or BB store. They really should pee before leaving their house but skip that and risk wetting themselves when the sales person hands them their TB.
BB's weekly lying ads have totally turned me off to ever shopping there again. I wonder how many people who aren't members at boards like this (so don't have a clue about the phone's background) go into BB to buy having been baited by the BB ad and when they get their some slick sales person gets them to switch to another phone because the TB isn't really available although the ad makes it seem like it is.
Because VZW didn't actually give a release date we're not supposed to blame them. Ok, fine. I do blame them for their silence in squelching all the rumors and not giving any solid info, leaving people hang. I do think they owe their loyal PAYING (big money!) customers better treatment than what we're getting.
I was stupid enough to think that by signing up for their email notification they would probably send out little update tidbits but I haven't gotten one single solitary email from them. Ok, so I have only myself to blame for even thinking this. They could soooooo have used this to their advantage and ours but it's just more of the same silent treatment.
I was sooooo excited about my upcoming new phone, learning Android, app shopping etc ... but that's all been squashed into disappointment. If I didn't *need* a new phone I would probably just forget about buying until my 2 years was up. Could I get another phone? Sure, but I don't like the style of any of the other ones.
Ok, I've said enough and I got work to do. I've had my TB disappointment for the day.

I guess we're in the same exact boat, because I feel the same way about the tiered data.
Same. Unless they give us a reasonable price and plenty of options
5GB - $15
10GB - $25
20GB - $35-$40
Unlimited - $50
I think they should still keep unlimited for people who use a lot of data or don't want to worry about a cap. I don't think they will because people could be like Why am I paying more for the same thing.
I think I would be fine on 10-15GB even though I will be downloading a lot of apps.
Also on that thought, can I just download my apps onto my computer and transfer it to my phone to cut down on data usage?
Every morning when I wake up I get my son out of his crib, then we sit on the couch while I check the forums. Sometimes he shoves his head between my face and the phone to get my attention. After about 5 minutes I put the phone away and only then do I start his breakfast. This release bologna is making me a bad parent.
Holy shatt!!! The only thing that's worse than that would be if you are big into W.O.W. and you managed to trade that. Then again, trading that addiction would probably be a good thing. I'm proud to say that I've never played either one, my addiction is reading books.
