Do you have always on display on?

It's definitely user preference, I don't mind the battery usage myself. I would love for an update to AOD.

My wish list would be a setting that AOD is only on when there's a notification. And you could select a add on that it will be on while charging as I use it for my alarm clock. Of course be able to select wireless charging, wired charging, or both.

So until above option is available, I'll stick to always on.

I like having it on while it's on the charging stand at night. Just wish it was I could change make it dimmer.

You tried switching auto brightness off and putting it on the lowest brightness?

No I haven't but it doesn't bother me to the point where I want to do that manually every night. It doesn't keep me awake, I would just prefer it dimmer .

Always on. As others have said it's a core feature of the phone. It would be silly not to use it. It uses almost no battery power so what in the world is the down side?

I have a Galaxy watch there is no reason to have it one. I'd rather save the battery even if it's a small amount.

I only have it on from 12am to 830 so I don't get blinded by the light at night.

My issue with having it 'always on' is visibility. The notification icons are so small and dim, even with max AOD brightness.

So I have set my AOD to come on when there's a notification, using Tasker, and that is a little easier to notice.

Use an earpiece with voice/read notifications. So mine is off, no need to look at screen

Interesting didn't know there is an app that can do that

I have mine as tap to show although it would be a good option if it would stay on all the time while charging.

Always on has no use for me. Seems counterintuitive for a battery powered device like a phone.

That's a great idea! I'd love that feature.:)
I tried emailing Samsung with that idea, but their email address they have listed in the app description keeps coming backed failed delivery, go figure.

Anyone have a way to contact them for suggestions for AOD. I'll send it to them, and encourage others as well.

You can do it with Tasker.
