I have the Pixel 2XL, and the 3XL, but bought a OnePlus 7 pro for it's speed. Having said that, I do miss how well all Google's optimized systems work together. I keep trying to do Pixel actions on my 7 pro.

I live in Asia where it's unaffected by any trade war. iPhones, Samsungs, Oppos and Huaweis are common place. An occasional OnePlus if you're really lucky, but no Pixels yet even though Google extended it's reach here, last year.

Most people buy phones during contract renewals so consider a 2 year cycle, plus it's only the second year Pixel is available for this part of the world. And people don't really see how the Pixel can offer as much as the other OEMs for equal or even at a lower price.

Many friends and relatives view ever changing software - Android in particular - as unstable and too much hassle. On the iPhone, they see it as seamless. Users don't need to do stuff, or tweak anything manually, the phone does it for them. Thus, making IOS the more convenient option.

So... I am at a collegiate gymnastics meet, not somewhere I find myself often, watching the athletes and all the happenings. They have people on the floor filming the routines for various reasons. Then - I see it! Is that... an oh-so-Orange Pixel 4XL in the back pocket of a woman whose filming the meet? My first sighting since the phone came out?? ...or is it some other phone in an orangey case.

I live in a big city (Phoenix) and work at one of the largest universities in the country. I see hundreds of students every week, plus the ones in my classes. In 2019, I came across one staff person who happened to have a Pixel 2. I know Google's market share is small but I thought I would at least see a few on campus. They're there... I guess I need to give extra credit to Pixel owners to flush them out.

It's funny that I saw my first Pixel 4 in the wild at the football stadium of said University you work at. Haven't seen one before that instance and haven't seen one since. The Pixel 4 is the first Pixel/Nexus I've slipped. They just don't do it for me anymore. Middling specs at a flagship price.

I've seen exactly one Pixel phone (besides mine) since I got mine a year and a half ago.
I see more BlackBerrys than Pixel phones!

I have owned every generation of Pixel and in that time I don't think I have ever seen another one out in public. I live in a moderately sized city and have traveled to several major cities during that time, too. I just see the various Samsungs and iPhones, of course.

Same here in Ottawa, the nation's capital. Zilch. Just me and my Pixel 4. I feel like a lone wolf ... lol.

I'm a nerd who works with other nerds so I've actually seen 5 or so (all XL variants) in the wild. Folks seem to really like them, not sure if they're my cup o' tea but to each their own.

That makes me so happy! At least there are a lot of sightings somewhere!

I have the Pixel 2XL, I might have seen another, but it's mostly Samsungs and iPhones, with an occasional Motorola and One+ phones here and there. I was wanting to go with the new Asus Rog 2 but in the US there wasn't any network support for it to be useful.

I've gone Pixel to Pixel 3XL and only met one other Pixel owner!

Here on the Washington DC area, I at least see one Pixel a day. Since the launch, I've only seen 2 Pixel 4s though. I see a lot of Pixel 3s and 2s. Probably from Verizon.

Never saw a single Pixel phone other than mine. They don't sell Pixel here in Malaysia but you can get it through an online store which imports it. I got mine while I was in London.
