Well, I don't understand the need of turning off the phone in any case, unless you're running out of battery in an emergency situation and want to save it for a later day.
For me, keeping the phone in a silent mode is enough.
Also, now there comes an option of Ultra Saving Mode as well for super battery saving.
I turn mine off a few times a week, or if I need a quick charge before an evening out.
My 'real' voice phone turns itself on for an alarm. Battery lasts a week or more anyway.
Who's jealous now?!

I don't turn my phone off often, but I reboot it almost every other day, especially when it starts to lag more than it should. I should probably do some "spring cleaning" soon.![]()
I have my phone set for a scheduled power off every night around the time I fall asleep and scheduled power on to come on just before I usually wake so that it is already booted up.
Some people need to keep their phone on while they sleep in case of emergencies, but I know very few people that would need me in an emergencyThat is a really good idea! It's not like you'd be worried about missing notifications in that time frame, either.
