Do You Turn Off Your Phone Regularly?

I reboot my phone on a fairly regular basis, but that is mostly due to the fact that I am always fussing with something and need a reboot to either enable it or clear it.

Yup! Whenever I adjust my EMUI Theme Editor or something, I always need to reboot. That's probably where the bulk of my reboots come from! Didn't think of this until you mentioned it!

I pretty much never turn my phone off unless it's been a long-time and I think about it, or it freezes.

I turn off my phone(s) only when I'm getting ready for bed on weekends. Friday-Sunday nights. I'm not too mean to my phones battery

I'll occasionally reboot every once in a while though.

When there is no possibility of me interacting with the phone, I will turn it off to conserve the battery. Like when I am playing in a soccer game, or the like.

When the phone is charging (not in the bedroom), I will usually leave it turned on. No harm in that. I may be awake and able to answer any calls/messages.

I do not use my phone as an alarm clock, so it is never in my bedroom since Work will not call me after hours.

Like all other computer-type devices, the smart phone does benefit from being rebooted every now and then.

I reboot at least once a week and my phone runs like a champ.

I rarely turn it completely off. I do set my DND so it does not have any notifications at night.

It is my alarm clock.

Yeah I never turn my phone off. Will set to do not disturb but it's not completely off ever.

I never turn my phone off. I do restart it every night when I put it on the charger. It restarts so fast I don't even know it. I never run into any problems where someone would need to say you need to restart your phone. It may be a little excessive, but hey that's me:-)

 When the Infamous -Sammy- Turn off his smartPhone

1) I did it to avoid overPass my "Data Limit" in my SGs4-5-6
But Not anymore 'cause unremovable battery in my SGs7

2) I turned off when I'm in a meeting or Classroom
even at work-Sometimes to Resist the tentation
of read a msge or answer incoming calls

3) A bit older, but Useful article from -TIME- Magazine

I'm in the habit of rebooting my phone whenever I take it off charge...probably a bit excessive but I don't mind!

Good to know I'm not alone!
I have to, otherwise i will wake up and check messages which isn't good haha :D

So it's either completely off or i turn Wi-Fi and Cellular off to keep my phone quite which means a peaceful nights sleep. :)

Why don't you just put it in Do Not Disturb?

I prefer to have as little radio waves as possible when I'm sleeping. Also, my screen will turn on when i get a phone call and that could potential wake me up :) am i crazy? maybe a little haha. but its the system i use and it works nicely. Im generally quite a light sleeper.

Yeah, you're a little crazy, lol :) I thought the purpose of DND was so that your phone doesn't ring and turn the screen on? I guess I need to try it during the day and see what my screen does when I get a call.

I charge my phone up before bed then unplug it and turn it off for the night. After over a year and a half, it's running as smooth as new, and I haven't lost any battery life at all ;-)

I left it on for a few days once and was shocked at how glitchy and laggy it was becoming. I think I'm just used to the smoothness a daily shutdown gives me.

I would definitely recommend trying a daily reboot, it might surprise you ;-)

When I go to bed, I turn my phone off. That means, I turn it on every morning. I simply have no reason to leave it on while I sleep.
