Do you use your IR blaster?

I see how it can be useful but I never used it.

I am in the process of making my Note 4 self aware.

That app sounds like it could be useful. Do you know if it can learn a command from another remote and incorporate it in a macro?

I don't think so, but can't say for certain. I have contacted the maker and they responded with codes to enter in for custom buttons.

The smart remote app is nowhere near as refined as the one that came stock on G3. The one that came with the Samsung requires a network to fully use the app where as I can set up just about anything anywhere on the G3.

I once had to use it at the bar when some breaking news came in and they couldn't find the remote and TV was mounted higher than they can reach lol.

I find myself using the actual remote more when I got the note 4.

Guys IR it's great. The point under my view is that we get less pay more. It's beginning to smell like and iPhone.
I got more features in my note 3 than the note 5 offers.

If you ever find yourself in a Pepboys waiting to pick up your ride or in a cheap *** restaurant both with insanely high volumes and no one having an idea where the TV remote is you'd be happy you have this feature in your phone.

I do. Not everyday but I use it at least a few times a week. I don't watch a lot of TV though. I find it very useful since I have my phone on me all the time.

Same. I use mine a few times a week when I'm on the couch and can't reach my controllers lol

Use this feature all the time. Comes in extremely handy when traveling. Not to mention the cool guide feature on the Peel/smart remote app.
