Does android market store my credit card info. Or do i ha e to put my credit card in each time. I would like to put my credit card in each time so others who use my phone can not punch a few buttons and buy apps. Thanks for the help

Along those same lines...what happens the first time you buy an app (if you do have a google checkout account)? (Sorry if this is considered thread-jacking)

Well tbdbuckeyeitl I can tell you first hand that after making my first purchase, every subsequent purchase had my credit card info already filled in and saved, and showed the last 4 digits. All I had to do was find an app, click Buy, then wait for it to load, click Purchase or whatever underneath the price and which card is selected, and then install and boom. Purchase made just like that.

So yes, it does save your info. I'm sure there's a way to punch it in and not save it, just haven't looked into it because I am anal-tight with my phone and don't really worry about this. It just saves me time from punching it in everytime.

As for the first time you buy an app, it asks you for your name, address etc etc, then you punch in your card info and you continue on your merry way. I can't say what happens if you already have an account, because I didn't have one when I got my X lol

You can access your stored credit cards via checkout.google.com. From there you could delete it each time, but it wouldn't be very efficient, unless you seldom buy anything.

You can refund any purchase from the market within 24 hours though. So if someone were to get a hold of your phone and hit buy on stuff, you can refund it without a problem.

I use App Lock, you can set it so a password is required anytime a app that you want secured is open. Set Market in this app and they can not even open app without knowing password. Its free on market. Works perfect for me.

Keep in mind that the app seems not to restart when phone is restarted... No big, just start it manually.

Yeah all apps are 24 hours refundable no questions asked. But it does save your credit card info so It's easy one click to buy any app going forward. I know the itunes store is the same way when I buy for my ipod touch.
