I have spoken to two different Google customer reps who have both told me that the Nexus 7 in definitely NOT compatible with Verizon LTE. I emphasized that I know it is not compatible with the 3G network, but the 4G LTE network? They categorically claim that it is not. I am confused, because from every indication I heard, it would be. Debating back and forth whether it is or isn't is futile. I want someone who actually has a device that functions on Verizon to chime in and settle the argument.

I ordered mine but have not received it yet. But, for what it's worth, I was told by a rep in my local Verizon store that the Nexus 7 LTE will work on their network. I'll be really pissed if it doesn't. And since Google specifically said when they announced it that the device IS compatible with Verizon, I don't see how Verizon can refuse to sell you a data plan for it. Bottom line, I'd be shocked if it doesn't work with Verizon. But if you or anyone else has proof either way, I'd like to hear it.

Update: The guys at www.droid-life.com seem to have an N7 LTE and they have a quick review of how it works on Verizon. So, it seems like, YES, this device will work on Verizon and it is very simple to set up. Link: http://www.droid-life.com/2013/09/11/video-first-look-at-verizon-data-on-the-new-nexus-7-lte/
