Does anyone have the Google Earth Live Case? Thoughts?

Yes, I know, I'm late to the party (been living under an iPhone rock for the past three years). I just learned about the Google Earth Live Case, and have to admit, I'm intrigued. I don't have a Google phone (yet), but I'd be interested in hearing people's opinions on this case and the Google Earth wallpaper feature. I could see myself digging this. Plus, it looks like my favorite color (kinda blue) may not be available at Target, where I was told a good deal would start next week, so I could live with the black version of this phone if I end up getting one of those Google Earth cases instead of a clear case.

Looks kinda interesting. I don't usually get cases for my phones, but I like the idea of the companion app that changes my wallpaper daily. I suppose I could find another app that does that, though.

That's what I'm wondering. I still don't understand how the case and the app go together. How is that even possible, in terms of the technology, to have an app only work in conjunction with a certain case?

I would assume the case would come with a "download code" or something to allow you to get the app. A quick search of the google store didn't bring up any google owned live wallpaper, so it's probably its own thing. If anyone has it maybe they will chime in though.
