Does anyone here play Dots?

I'm trying to figure out how to move my Dots stats from my Nexus 4 to my new Nexus 5. Tried using MyBackup Pro to backup and restore but the stats didn't come over.

Also tried using a file manager (ES File Explorer) on both phones to locate the Dots database but without success.

I love Dots...
But with other games, I have had no luck in transferring data from one device to another. I think it becomes signed to the device. Bummer.....

I used Helium to transfer my Dots game data from my Nexus 4 to Nexus 5. Backed app data up to Google Drive and restored to the Nexus 5. Super simple and easy.

Yes, you need to backup the app+data and restore it on the new device. If you are rooted, Titanium Backup Pro, My Backup Pro and Helium will do this. If you are not rooted, use Helium.
