Does anyone know if the new Motorola Skip will work, or how to use NFC to bypass a manual password l

The Cobra Tag is my preferred trusted device. Great range, 6-7 days between charges, good keychain size.

Check the Trusted Bluetooth Device thread here for a good discussion on the subject.

I just realized my company server forbids the use of Trusted Bluetooth Devices. I wonder if the NFC tags (Motorola Skip) will work or if it will be restricted by security policies as well.

I agree with the Cobra Tag recommendation. I have had one for about a month (I stumbled across a new-in-package one at an unclaimed baggage store). I would like to have something similar to the skip, but the Cobra Tag is good. The only issue I get with the Cobra Tag is have fairly full pockets and sometimes the button gets pushed, setting off the alarm, when I lean forward while seated.

Sweet, I must have this. My work email requires I have a PIN and I hate it! This is super cool.

So it works great? If so, I'm ordering today!

Might be better to use Touchdown instead. I use it with exchange server 2010 since touchdown supports active sync. And if I want to read work email, I can open the app and enter the security pass code. Except, this security pass code is only on the app level and doesn't hold your phone hostage.

What trusted Bluetooth device do you recommend? I ordered the skip this morning, but the Bluetooth device does sound more convenient. I cab see having both being a good solution. The Skip spots conveniently located for when the Bluetooth devices is forgotten or has a dead battery.

I had no idea these devices existed!

If you have googles device policy app for your work account like I have too then the skip doesn't work (infuriating).
