Does ANYONE"S Yahoo Mail work with Gingerbread?

I saw the thread here that yahoo mail on not working with GB.
Does that hold true for everyone?
I have still not updated, but was thinking I might tonight.
Then, I saw the news about yahoo mail
I have 3 yahoo accts and use them all on my Evo with the stock mail app.
Ugh...does this mean I should stick with froyo???

But there are a few who just don't get it...lol I don't use yahoo email either, but I created an account and set it up using the HTC email app today just to see what everyone was talking about...Worked perfectly, so I don't know. I'm stock, and running Gingerbread.

Everything should work as before (including yahoo mail) with gingerbread (version 2.3). I have no problems since the latest (maintenance update).

I think the original poster was talking about the native HTC email app. I am not rooted with Gingerbread and mine stopped receiving emails on the 23rd. I did download the Yahoo email app and that is working. Maybe an issue with the Evo and the HTC email app??

Well aren't you guys special, lol! One of you wanna come over and tell my unrooted- Gingerbread -post maintenance update EVO to behave and give me my @#&* Yahoo email. I never used the Yahoo app, I heard it sucked. I just want good ole simple HTC email to work again. Right now I'm going through the mobile website (saved as a bookmark) to check it. It sucks!

My unrooted EVO with the 2nd GB patch works fine using the HTC mail app.

My friends EVO with the same GB update and patch will not sync his yahoo mail account.

We have reset the phone twice, and nothing..

Unrooted. GB and recent patch. HTC mail client shows folders but won't show mail. Deleted and recreated account. Go to web with Firefox and can read Mail. Gee, I wonder if the iPhone has this problem? Sprint doesn't have the iPhone though.... This sucks. Can't these clowns get it together and get this working again??

Unrooted and working with the native app on both my Evo AND my Flyer. Well, I tested it on the Flyer today, and on the Evo a few days ago. I don't use Yahoo! mail. I use Comcast and Gmail for personal, and NitroDesk Touchdown for work.
