Does Anyone Wish the Back Button Was on the Left Side Instead?

I think having the back button on the bottom left instead of the right side is much better for one handed use.
I cannot reach the bottom right side with say my thumb. My Moto X and Nexus 7 both have the back button on the left side.

I think Samsung made a mistake here.

Your thoughts?

Works good for me the way it is.

I agree with you OP. I'm coming from a Nexus 5 but the problem is that I also have a Nexus 7 so I'm always going back and forth.

Coming to S6 from two years with an M7 after previously using an S2, the Samsung way is far better IMO

I too, would like it to be on the left. I am left handed, and I hold my phone in my left hand. So, trying to hit the back button can be a little tricky at times.

it's always been on the bottom right since the S1 and should be around til S100. I don't think they're gonna change that just to please ex-non-samsung users. just saying guys.

When I went from the M8 to the S6, I was very pleased to see the back button on the right. I use a back button more than the multi-task view, so having it on the right is easier for me to access.

I love it right where it is ... I tried a Motorola Nexus 6 phone for a week, and that had the back button the other side, and I HATED it. For the time being, I hope Samsung keeps putting out awesome phones, and leaves the button positions as they are now.

Quite frankly, while I'm now getting used to the multi-task button on the right side, I really miss the "menu" button being there instead. If the "ok google" thing was working right, I'd prefer the multi-tasking function to still come from a long-press of the home button, just like my S4 was.

I used to like it on the left side until I got my Galaxy Tab S. Then it got confusing going from one device to the other, but I felt the right-hand button was actually much better as I use "back" much more than multi-task. So when I got my LG G3 last year, I was able to rearrange the on-screen buttons to where the "back" button was on the right just like on my tablet. I got so used to it that using a device with it on the left-hand side is not as easy.

I did prefer it on the left side, especially coming from Nexus 5 and Windows Phone...however i've gotten used to it on the right side, dont even notice its opposite anymore.

It's weird, having the back button on the right has caused me to use my phone left handed more often.

dreaming of electric sheep

I do. First Samsung since the S4. I wish they had on screen buttons and let you arrange in any order like LG does. Going back and forth with my Nexus 6 makes me curse Samsung.

I wish it was on the left as well. Although I'm right handed I holds my phone in my left. But I make do.

Don't like on screen buttons eating screen real estate.
