Does Anyone Wish the Back Button Was on the Left Side Instead?

Yeah it should be on the left, no idea why Koreans think back is forward. Weird. Do they write right to left or something?

Hey, watch it now. Koreans had a written language long before the Europeans.

Why is it that we get these questions after the device has been released? If you get freaked out by little minutiae, don't but or return the GS6.

It is easy adapted to, but still opposite of almost all other android phones. Maybe they did it because most people use it in their right hand and it makes it easier to press the back button?

They may have, but selling the phone in America means things should be set up normally for us rather than Koreans IMO.

That being said, I'm used to it now, I just think it's wrong is all.

I almost always hold the phone with my left hand even though I'm right handed. I tend to think most right handed people do this as it's easier to use the right index finger.

OK. It's not like we're talking cars. We Americans get a little too complacent expecting the world to cater to us even though next to the ROK, we're probably their largest market.

Born left handed but ambidextrous as my parents trained to be right hand dominant.

That's pretty awesome, I wish I could do more things left handed.

I had the M8 before my S6 and the back button and multitasking button were swapped (back on left, multitask on right). I've already gotten used to the back button being on the right hand side. Something you know you can't change so might as well just get used to it anyways.

Nope, I'm left-handed. hold my phone in the right hand, and it's perfect. For once we win.

Left handed but hold my phone in the right hand. Shoot right handed as well. I guess I assumed most right handed people hold their phone in their right hand since us lefties have had to adapt to a right handed world...lol!

I like it the way it is. But Samsung GS6 i also my first Android phone ever (had IOS for 7 years) so im not even used to having that button. Loving this phone!

Coming from the M8 I'm still trying to get use to the home button, keep touching it instead of pushing it.
Right side/left side it doesn't bother me much though if I had a choice I want it on the left.

Possible. I have gotten used to it since I have/had 3 samsung tabs. Tab 2 3 and Note 8... Last samsung phone I had was the Galaxy S

Back button on left would be consistent with things like the hardware controls for a CD player and software controls for an MP3 player app. Back-track button is always on the left. While I wish Samsung would have gone that route in the first place, it's just too late for them to change now. Or, maybe not?

Too,late for the GS6 and GS6E.

Like it the way it is. And I do understand why Samsung wants to do something different than rest of the android phones.

Although every Android device I've owned, it was on the left. I easily adapted to them being reversed on the S6. If I'm not mistaken, early Android phones had the back button on the right side of the Home button as well.
However, I would've liked it if the Home button was flush or capcative :D
