Does anyone's S3 pair automatically in car?

I apologize if there are duplicate threads on this subject but I am very frustrated. I saw some threads where people had workarounds but I was wondering if people could post if their devices actually pair automatically after the initial pairing/setup. My last device (Pre 2) would pair within seconds after re-entering the car. My S3 never automatically pairs. I have to do it manually and even then it does not stay paired. DOES ANYONE HAVE A DEVICE THAT WORKS? I am 7 days into this device and I am wondering if I should just move on to another device, trade it for a new S3 (if they actually work) or put the Pre 2 back into service. I don't want to get stuck with this unit if there are some that work properly.

Thank you for letting me vent.

Mine pairs fine however it will not sync ALL of my contacts. Ive tried every solution I can think of and still no fix. I have a Toyota.

Never had a problem pairing with my 2012 Honda Fit but the Phonebook only showed a few contacts. Took it to the Honda dealer where after tedious testing with multiple cell phones they said the problem was with my Galaxy S3. After spending way too much time with a Verizon rep at the store and resetting my phone (to no avail), I found the Android App "Bluetooth Phonebook" which magically showed all my phonebook contacts in my car. Never had another problem after downloading this app.

I had a problem with my 2010 Audi A4 until I prevented contacts from syncing. I now have a 2013 A4 (previous lease was up) and everything connected and works just fine. I think it's a combination of the JB Bluetooth and the version of BT in your car that makes the difference.
