I apologize if there are duplicate threads on this subject but I am very frustrated. I saw some threads where people had workarounds but I was wondering if people could post if their devices actually pair automatically after the initial pairing/setup. My last device (Pre 2) would pair within seconds after re-entering the car. My S3 never automatically pairs. I have to do it manually and even then it does not stay paired. DOES ANYONE HAVE A DEVICE THAT WORKS? I am 7 days into this device and I am wondering if I should just move on to another device, trade it for a new S3 (if they actually work) or put the Pre 2 back into service. I don't want to get stuck with this unit if there are some that work properly.

Thank you for letting me vent.

Ford Sync in F150 Blue tooth Connect in Hyundai Genesis both pair automatically...

Only had mine for two days, but seems to work fine (Toyota Tacoma). Now, if I could figure out why every time I try to send a text my phone disconnects and says "no sim", I'd be happy.

Pairs in like 2 seconds with my '08 Mitsubishi Lancer.

Only one issue.
If I have my s3 connected to my Aux port playing music, when I receive/make calls, I can't hear the other person but they can hear me.

Thanks everyone. I will swap mine for a new unit tomorrow. Hopefully it will work. Otherwise I really like the phone.

mine pairs and works perfectly with my pioneer in my truck i couldnt be happier . my razr maxx never worked right in this regard .

My S3 pairs automatically with my Toyota Tundra. It also connects to the Bluetooth device that is connected to my OBD2 connector that I use with my Torque Pro App.

Any tips to get it to pair automatically? I'm wondering if it has to be the primary device? Always selects my wifes Iphone over my s3. Not trying to hijack but sunds like we all have a similar situation?

I have no idea if all cars work the same (mazda3) but mine selects a primary device. So it pairs my wife's (s3) automatically even if I take the car without her. if I click the button in the car it says "phone not available, would you like to connect to another paired phone now?" and then it's simple as saying Yes and selecting it. then my phone usually becomes the primary.

Are you clicking the 'phone' button in the bluetooth options menu of the phone pairing on the phone?

The only issue I have, and it's minor, is that I usually have the media pairing set to my iPod, but often it resets (because I'm often not there) to use her phone, and selects the first media item on the phone to play when i expect my iPod.

Also, i discovered S-Voice doesn't seem to work while paired.
