Does anyone's S3 pair automatically in car?

I just tried a last ditch effort with this phone where I did a factory reset. I also removed all devices from the car (Honda CRV). I then starting the paring process again and it seemed to pair automatically but after I downloaded/accessed my phonebook/contacts it stopped working. I read somewhere the phonebook may cause the problem with pairing. Those whose phone's work are you accessing the phonebook?

Thanks again.

I can access the phone book with no problem on my Ford Sync system...

The only issue I have ever had is that if I have not turned my Bluetooth on before starting my car I have to do the pair manually on the phone by going to the BT device available. If I have BT on and then start my car it connects automatically though. (Hyundai accent with Sony aftermarket radio.)

My S3 will automatically connect to both my cars if BT is on before I start the car.

If i turn on the S3's BT after the car is on, it will only auto-connect in my Audi. My Porsche will not connect automatically if the phone's BT wasn't on first. However, this is NOT unique to the S3 - behavior with these two cars was the same with my iPhone and with my GNexus.

Mine pairs automatically, every time (and I have no issues accessing my contacts through my car) -- I drive a Hyundai, Tucson.

Not that it helps, but yes my G3 connects every time with out a hitch. I drive a Chevy Equinox.

I use the iBolt car dock and have Car Home Ultra set to turn Bluetooth on automatically when connected. It connects every time with my 2010 Audi

A4.
I also have Car Home Ultra set to turn Bluetooth off when I disconnect it from the dock.

No problems whatsoever.

Mine pairs automatically to my Acura RDX, but it takes a few minutes for the audio to start playing thru the speakers.

Anyone else have this issue?

And all you guys are on VZ?

Mine won't auto pair and I have to re sync everything each time I start the car.

It won't even show what song is playing either even when it is synced.

I thought we were talking about the phone not pairing (which I have no problem with). I don't have bluetooth capable music in my car.

Mine pairs fine with my car. Both the stock Vzw ROM and with CleanRom 2.0.1
I just have to remember to delete the old sync from stereo after I flash a new ROM before resyncing phone.

2011 Kia Optima here. My S3 pairs immediately only half of the time. The other times, I have to toggle my BT off/on and manually pair. And sometimes it will eventually pair after 10-15 minutes.

My Galaxy Nexus would NEVER pair with my car automatically.

2010 civic SI with a Kenwood DNX-9960 bluetooth/navigation DDin installed and it connects every time I start the car with no problems

Do you use the S Voice in the mercedes? I can pair my S4 BT to my C350, but then S Voice doesn't respond to my voice. I can still make calls through the BT by selecting the contact and dialing on the phone, but S Voice is nonresponsive.

Let me know you're experiencing this problem.
