I would like to know if Apex launcher changes the recent apps menu back to the way it's don't in stock ice cream sandwich. Vertical menu and swipe left or right to close apps. I don't like how HTC changed it with sense to be a horizontal list and you have to swipe up to close. Thanks!!

No it doesn't. To be honest I like the HTC version better. Not until somebody mentioned it on here before did I realize that when you view your recent apps, you get a larger view of the apps than you would on stock. And the benefit is, if you're just looking for a certain piece of information on a recent app(say a website) you don't have to actually switch between the apps because it's already viewable.

Thanks for the reply. I understand what you mean but on stock you can see 3-4 apps and swipe them off very quickly. HTC you can only see one. I guess I will have to root.

To me, that is not the worst part. It is the app kill/multi-tasking thing. This actually hit me the other day, for the first time, where I could not use Sense to do what I wanted to do... which was actually quite simple. All I wanted, was to have a PDF open in Adobe Reader, and a text editor open for taking notes. I would get a few seconds delay switching to either, and the text editor would even lose the changes if I had not saved it before multi-tasking away. VERY annoying. And unless I am mistaken, not fixable on Sense. I flashed my CM10 backup back on, and instantly (well, 5 mins to flash) had it working "as expected".

Actual loss of functionality, for no apparent GAIN I am aware of... I hope HTC reverts their multitasking with Jellybean.
