Does Hi-Fi Quad DAC work with Bluetooth headphones?

Yes, Quad DAC can work via. blurtooth headphone. if your phone is LG G5/G6/V20/V30. otherwise no
This is incorrect. The DAC is a digital to analog converter. When using Bluetooth headphones, the phone is s sending a digital audio signal, not analog, to the headphones. The headphones will have their own DAC To convert the signal into analog for the speakers.

Correct; there is no way to use a hi-fi DAC for Bluetooth. However, Bluetooth could use aptX for the codec, which is a better one -- if it's in there (haven't checked.)

I have a set of Shure earbuds that are moderately expensive and they sound REAL good on the V20. I also have a pair of studio monitor on-the-ear headphones that sound phenomenal on the V20, much, much better than on my other Android devices.

The V20 supports aptx-HD for bluetooth. Sounds ok with my LG Tone platinums but not nearly as good as it does thru a good set of wired headphones or earbuds.
