Does it make sense to buy a used HTC One M7?

An update to my post above, I received a pristine "replacement" from HTC for my M7 that had the purple tint flaw with indoor lighting. I think the replacement is actually a new phone that was lying around the repair facility since there's not a mark on it and the software was two versions old. I was three days short of running out of my 1 year warranty, and HTC replaced my phone with this beauty.
If buying a used M7, would definitely not get one under "all sales final". You should have the option to return the phone if the purple tint problem exists.
