or at least add speed dials?

Just curious to those who flashed the preview, I understand the final product may vary.

I've only made one phone call so far. But to me it looks the same. Haven't messed with it much.

Sent from my Jellybeaned Gnex

Contact pics look MUCH BETTER though.

This. From the Android Developers site, specifically the Android 4.1 for Developers page:

Higher-resolution contact photos

With Android 4.1, you can store contact photos that are as large as 720 x 720, making contacts even richer and more personal. Apps can store and retrieve contact photos at that size or use any other size needed. The maximum photo size supported on specific devices may vary, so apps should query the built-in contacts provider at run time to obtain the max size for the current device.

Emphasis added.

Now, to be clear: we're referring to higher-resolution contact photo syncing here, yes? The section of the quote that I've bolded supports this. If so, I think this update has been overlooked so far in the mess of Jelly Bean news and experiences. I know many people were hoping for this a while back.

Its the same. Contact photo's look a little more hi-res though. I don't use stock dialer anyway but checked it out just to see myself
