that's not what i was saying... mine was working perfectly until a couple of weeks ago, without any update or any change at all.
but i think i found some more info that i'll share with anyone who's interested:
i found an official Asus reseller that was selling a part called: "ME571K WIFI GPS ANTENNA", part no.: 14007-01051900 or 14007-01052000 or 14007-01052100 or 14007-01052200 (don't ask me i don't know the difference; they all appear the same).
i dig a little into this and found that is one of those sticker antennas. it's placed between the screen and the top speaker. not the easiest spot to find... i'll try to fix it next weekend. i hope, this information have helped someone, if not now in the future.
