I'm debating whether to get a 32 gb or 64 gb micro sd card. I'm new to sd cards and done some research but it seems the 64 gb either works well or had a lot of problems for some people.

I'm prioritizing reliability over size. Does the 32gb micro sd have same problems as 64 or is just a 64 gb thing?

I don't necessarily think size can be equated with potential reliability. I have a 64GB SanDisk which has proven reliable. If you want a 64GB, get a 64GB.

Yes it will support it. Make sure you get class 10.

The Note2 does support 64gb. I would go with a kingston 64gb class 10 because of known issues with sandisk 32gb/64gb class 10. See the acknowledgement by sandisk to the manufacturing defects in the attached article.

I believe there's a bit of an issue with knockoff SanDisk Class 10 64gb cards. Most people I know with fried cards paid far less than market value for theirs. I paid $85 for my card from a reputable importer and haven't had an issue.

But I follow all the safe procedures as well. Power off the phone before removing the card. If you're connected via USB and the computer is slow reading the card, disconnect. If a program seems to be corrupting files on your card, uninstall the program. Stuff like that.
