Does pixel xl have bootloop issue

[Android Central Question]

I want to buy pixel xl but i read some threads about bootloop issue does it sage to buy second hand one on Android 8.1.0

I would say it's safe, I came from an LG G4 where all 3 in my family bootlooped. Pixel has been a very reliable device for me.

I read one person saying that a Pixel bootloop was not a matter of if but just when. I had a Pixel which I passed to a nephew and got another Pixel and both are running great.

Well it's been over a year and there's nothing real in the forums here about any bootlooping, so I'd say it's highly unlikely. At this point in the Nexus 6P lifecycle, it was well publicized.

I'm currently experiencing this issue. constantly goes into fits where it will freeze and restart by itself. tried rebooting in safe mode and I get the same issue. next step is s full reset and if that doesn't work I'll be on my third pixel XL
*Update: factory reset seems to have solved the problem for now
