If phone lost/stolen.

Does the S5 have a kill/wipe/find app. built in?

If not, what apps are you using and which features do you like?

The S5 does have a built in app killer, however, using these are bad for battery life and make phones appear laggy.

I should have noted that I meant if the phone is lost or stolen.

Sorry I misunderstood. It is still early I used lookout on my S4 and liked it a lot but I haven't seen anything on the S5

Lookout came pre-installed on my T-mobile S5.

You can wipe your phone clean and disable it by googling "Android Device Manager." You must sign in with your Google password. From there you can reset your phone and / or lock it with a new password. You can also locate the phone within 15 meters and have it ring continuously until the battery runs out.

Thus, if lost, you can find it. If stolen, you can alert the police to its exact location. If you forget the password, you can set a new one. If you want to wipe it clean and place a new password lock on it, you can also do that.

ATT offers a similar service and will also replace your phone if lost or stolen. You must sign up within 30 days of purchase and it costs $ 10 per month. Since the google service is free, I'm just going with their service.

You must enable Android Device Manager by going to Settings>Security>Device Administrators.

Then you can go to https://www.google.com/android/devicemanager

This will allow you to find, disable, and alert your device. No need for third party apps to do this anymore.
