Does screen mirroring work from phone to tablet?

I want to use my S5 to record video of something I'm working on, on my workbench. The position of the phone will be such that I cannot see the screen. So 2 questions:

1) Does screen mirroring work with the camera app too?
2) Can I mirror my S5 screen (as its recording) to say, the Galaxy Tab 3?

Thanks in advance. Been awhile since I've been in the android scene, so I don't know if these are stupid questions or not

no.. screen mirror is for tv's

sidesync is for tab and phone but I'm not sure if its only for tabs and gs5

I tried sidesync, at least from my phone to my pc, but it doesn't seem to support the camera, so it doesn't help. I need a way to have my phone screen display on something else while recording

If you have another Samsung Galaxy Smartphone laying around, you could use the remote viewfinder feature to do exactly this.

It mirrors the camera viewfinder of one device on the other and offers you full control of the other smartphone.

SideSync is a pos. It crashes on my pc, my note 8 is not supported. Lg has such a nice application, Sammy is slipping...
