Does the "Glitter" on the Garnet Red Color Bother Anyone?

I just picked up the Garnet Red GS3 the other day and love it for the most part. I couldn't tell in store when looking at it that under direct light you can see the color is really glittery on the front side. Does that bother anyone who's purchased it? I'm on the fence. The red is the only color I like but as a guy I'm not sure I want to have a glittery phone. Want to see what other people think. I'll probably keep it anyway.

Thanks
Kev

I don't mind the glitter at all, but I am a girl who likes all things glittery :-) You can only see it certain ways you look at it, you should keep it....a little glitter couldn't hurt anyone, including men ;-)

I have a case on mine so haven't really noticed it. But even when the case is off its never bothered me. I wouldn't worry about it.

+1 on the case with mine as well. These phones are far too slippery to carry nekid.. I just got the Acase two layer type (silicone inside, hard shell outside) so the only red I see is on the front.. I think the garnet red is the best color of all though.. My $.02

I think it's the best color of all of them as well. I only see the glitter when specifically searching for it under direct light. Just wondering how everyone else feels about it. FYI, I'm rocking the Red Samsung Flip Case on it and love it.

I love the color. The sparkle doesn't bother me at all.

So the red is glittery not brushed like the pebble blue? I have yet to see one in person. When i think glitter i think girly colors. Garnet red is could be metal flake like a classic car if it makes you feel better. Or put it in a hello kitty case and rock it till the wheels fall off.

I was thinking the same thing with the metal flake. That's what came to mind when I first got mine instead of glittery. Lol.

I finally seen the red one in person, looks very nice when not in direct light....looks good in direct light too but that glitter is too much, too girly for my taste.

I wouldn't say its glitter, more like metallic flake. I'm actually hoping that the rumored black one comes with the metallic flakes on it as well. It reminds me of the paint on my Scion tC.

Exactly! I ended up taking it back and trading for the blue one. Cool thing about that experience is I asked out the girl who helped me buy the red and then she helped me return it for the blue and we have a date tonight!
Haha, score!

Very nice!

I love the color with the flake, reminds me of a candy paint job on an old car

Where did you get a red flip case?

I wouldn't really call it "glittery" - there is sparkle to it, but it's not over-the-top, imo. I'd compare it to the sparkle you'll see on a metallic red car. I don't mind it, and I tend to avoid anything too sparkly/glittery/shiny/bright.
