Does the Honor 8 have heating issues?

I was setting up the new phone and downloading apps and it only got slightly warm. The phone seems to prefer heavy throttling over letting the phone get hot when installing lots of apps

Not under normal usage from what I can tell

Having a warmer device with heavy use of an application is normal. We advice closing out the app when you're not using it and make sure you're updating your Honor 8. Enjoy! (RL)

When you say issue.. Is it got enough that it is uncomfortable to hold? Does it cause the phone to throttle?

Even playing games, Pokemon, etc never felt it get warm. I wouldn't worry about heat at all. Definitely worth your purchase.

I don't really feel any heat at all if I use the camera heavily. Maybe a slight warmth, but nowhere near an overheat.

phones will get warm during intensive applications.Now if it gets scalding hot then that's a problem.

How hot is "really hot" - is it so hot that you couldn't hold it (without a case)? If so, please consider exchanging or retiring your device - it may be a danger to you.

How hot is the battery and the cpu when you feel it getting really hot?

I think there are a few apps that will keep track of how hot your phone is running. I know gsm battery gives a graph that's pretty helpful.

Personally I like battery monitor widget, but there are a number of apps that can monitor battery temp.
