Bummer. Wonder if its hardware related or they just don't want to put the effort into unlocking it?
I questioned if I should get the AT&T model or the pure. Everyone on here said that the AT&T model would have bloat, carrier logo,be locked and be worth less $$$ than the PURE if/when I go to sell. I think in most instances this would be correct. But now with the lack of LTE bands on the Pure edition I am thinking I might have to cancel. I travel ( Mexico,Philippines,Japan) and would worry my phone might not work in some countries. Am I correct in thinking this? If this is true it would sure be a bummer

At a guess: Hardware
Unfortunately this is still a fairly weak offering of LTE bands. For example, the Pure will only boast a handful of the new iPhone 6's supported bands including the TD-LTE bands (which means no Sprint spark network). Here is what is supported by the iPhone 6 A1586/A1524:

I wonder, has this been implemented with the Android 5.0 update? Thanks!
Word out on the street is yes.

Nope I don't need B12. I needed either B2 or 3, I forgot which of the two.![]()
Just wanted to report that I just activated Pure Edition Moto X on AT&T in Boston area and I immediately got 4G LTE full strength signal.
That's all. Great phone!
