gps & magnetic sensor

Hi! my name is Federico, I'm from Argentina
have a note 3 about 2 months, happy with it
As I'm new in android & samsung , I'm trying to know first of all if the note 3 has a magnetic sensor (I test the Compas app, but it seems not to work well)
Also, is there any "code" to access a Diagnostic Menu ??????? (for example to turn on and off mag. sensor)

My phone is not rooted

thanks for the help!!!!!!! forum is great!!!!:p:p:p:p:p:p:p

According to this, yes: Samsung GALAXY Note3+Gear - Design your life

Something I have not tried (I don't have a Samsung device), open the dialer and dial *#0*# then tap on "Sensor" see https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DFI25OcHkNg

Keep in mind that the compass in any mobile device will easily lose calibration depending on the nature and strength of magnetic fields it is constantly exposed to (including being inside an automobile). To recalibrate your compass, simply rotate the phone through a couple of large figure-8 patterns, or really, any motion which moves the phone through multiple planes. You can find lots of videos on Youtube which show how to do this - just search "android compass calibration"
