Does the Rezound have a real glass screen?

Have you ever bought a screen protector that didn't come from a dollar bin?

No. But my friends have. So I have seen the "good" ones too. I still notice it immediately.

Not everyone is a graphics nerd and cares about that stuff, but for me it annoys the hell out of me. And with a glass screen it just seems pointless to me. My Droid 1 went through 2 years of heavy use. The metal case is scratched to hell, but the screen looks brand new still.

Only way I would use one now is for a plastic screen, and maybe not even then...modern plastic screens are probably a lot more durable than the old ones were.

All I'm saying is, not all screen protectors are alike, so if you've seen the "good" ones, you haven't seen mine. It's literally invisible.

Oh I agree. I have no doubt some are better than others. But "barely noticeable" is not the same as "completely invisible". So far I have never seen a screen protector that is just like naked glass. I can always tell the difference by feel or sight.

So unless I have a specific reason for one, I cant see the point of them. And the only situation I have seen where they would make a difference is in areas with sand. Thats the only thing I have ever seen that scratches a glass screen. I've never seen keys or change do it.

I did that many many times. My Droid 1 laughs at change. Never got a single scratch.

Keys I'd be a little more worried about. Keys have never scratched my Droid, but they did scratch up my eyeglasses a little.

Keys are too soft to scratch glass.
