Does the S9+ and the Note 8 have the same Bluetooth issues that the S8+ has?

I know it is not my car that has the problem because I can use my work iphone with bluetooth and no problem exists with call quality, it is just the Galaxy. Before Idecide its upgrade time to an S9+ or a Note 8 I want to know if this problem exists on others as well. I am tired of having to use my work phone for personal calls while driving. Bluetooth is a must for me since I live #1 in a hands free state and #2 I drive a stick shift.

It depends on the phone - and the car audio. Some combinations just aren't compatible. The only way to be sure is to try the particular phone with the particular car audio.
