Does the Verizon Galaxy S5 come factory unlocked?

I know some LTE phones come unlocked from Verizon but is that the case with the S5? I'm looking to leave verizon and use this phone on another carrier and I don't feel like going through the unlock process if I don't have to.

Best way to check is to stick another SIM card in it and see if it ask for an unlock code. More than likely it is locked.

All the Sim cards I have currently are Verizon

I will see if one of my friends with old sprint phones will let me use one of their sims.

Yes we do Unlocking and all Verizon 4G LTE devices are factory unlocked from Verizon. They do not want to tell you this but it is the case. Just pop in another sim card and you are good to go. You will likely only get 3G service however but it will work. If a black screen comes up asking for a unlocked code then you will need to have it unlocked but I have yet to see a 4G LTE Verizon device that was not unlocked.

Yes my s5 was unlocked I simply put in a pagepluscellular.com Sim card and ported my number from my Verizon account and went from 200 a month to 69 5g at 4G LTE and then unlimited 3 g and it Verizon service u tell me why any of u would continue to let Verizon continue to rip me off. Verizon will tell u that it won't work but I promise it will at 4 g speeds

I was told by verizon that my S5 was unlocked. I have tried Sprint, Metropcs and Tmobile sim cards and NONE have work. Any tips that can help will be greatly appreciatte it.

Even if Sprint worked you wouldn't have LTE as the V uses different LTE bands than the Sprint model.
